4:40pm_Harlem_Egg-In-A-Hole

For two mornings in a row I have devoured an egg-in-a-hole for breakfast. The first  from MILK at Chelsea Market and the second from Kitchenette in Harlem. Equally sensational.

In case you don't know about said outrageous innovation in breakfasting, ask your local 6 year old ... or American grandma.

Here is a brief how-to.

1. Cut a hole in your slice of [I suggest RYE] bread.

2. Fry an egg in the hole with copious amts of transfats

3. Throw a few kraft singles over the thing. why not?

4. Flip, sizzle and serve.

that last egg-in-a-hole pic looks pretty ominous... like a nuclear explosion seen from above!
