The East Side of Los Angeles on a Sunny Day

in honor of today's blue skies & golden sun on Long Island, formerly known as grey, i am reposting this video that my friend bl__k_  posted on facebox. 

there's something about stop motion that's so beautiful. it's jittery yet uncomplicated. it's no wonder most of them capture elemental things like clouds moving through a wide landscape. i saw this one vid of a baby eating in stop motion. thought about posting it but it actually made me nauseous.

Gotta love C. Frank. It seems to me that the music was performed at a shifting tempo. Did anybody else sense that?
