_fly me to venice!!! a gushing post
ooh. this installation... it's one of those "squeeze your toes" type pieces.
t'was up at the 2007 venice biennale. the 2009 biennale is taking place next week....
a flight on the 8th is $794, just checked Kayak...
CLOUD, by An Te Liu, is made of 120 air purifiers, ionizers, sterilizers, washers, humidifiers, and ozone air cleaners.
all of them were running apparently. what a sound that must have been.
i appreciate this installation for its form and for all of its conceptual notes -- the fragility of breath... of air... of humans... star trek....
